Laleham Lea School has one class in each year group with a maximum of 22 students in each class. The Junior Teachers and Specialist Subject Teachers plan together to create cohesion across the Curriculum and to give our pupils the very best opportunities in learning.
Our Class Teachers and Specialist Teachers (in Art, Music, Computing, Foreign Language, Science and Games) create an exciting learning environment where all work is celebrated through display and reward.
Our Junior pupils love learning and are not afraid to rise to the challenge of hard work to achieve their absolute best. The small class size ensures that each pupil benefits from one to one support, nurturing and personalised learning.
Our emphasis on Music, Performing Arts, Sports and our Stem Curriculum gives a wide scope of opportunity to take part in performance, concerts, competitions and the Crest Awards to develop the whole child.
Our Extra Curricular Activity Programme also provides extended learning in our Clubs where new skills are developed and friendships are forged.
Our 11 Plus preparation classes and Scholarship exam preparation, along with high expectations and aspirations enable our pupils to reach their full potential and prepare for the Senior School that will best suit their needs.
Each September we hold a Curriculum Information Evening for our Parents to come and meet our Teaching staff, experience life in the classroom and listen to the Curriculum that will be followed over that Academic year.
