Engaging and exciting Science lessons help equip Students with the foundations for understanding the world through the study of biology, chemistry and physics.

From an early age Students are encouraged to develop independent learning skills to enable them to conduct their own Scientific investigations; identifying what they want to investigate and how they will do this, hypothesizing what might happen, ensuring they collect reliable and fair data and thoroughly analysing their results.

Students learn how Science can be used to explain and predict situations and how important Scientific discoveries have changed the world and influenced how we live today.

A new Science topic is introduced each half-term and educational visits are undertaken to a range of museums to support and enrich Scientific learning.

We also use Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects across the curriculum to inspire and encourage Pupils and to consolidate these key areas of learning.
