- Ambitious activities enable pupils to be challenged in their thinking
- Teachers communicate high expectations and pupils are well motivated and have clear understanding of what they need to do…
- Pupils’ knowledge and understanding is developed well and pupils, including those in Early Years, make good progress
- Children in the early years achieve a good level of development by the end of Reception and are well prepared for the next stage of their education
- Pupils are well prepared for their senior school and future lives
- Pupils’ sense of belonging in the school community is deepened through the principles of Catholic Teaching and children of all faiths are fully engaged in the religious life of the school
- Leaders and teachers set high expectations of behaviour and pupils are well behaved and polite
- Pupils are taught how to manage their emotions
- Pupils know how to report concerns to adults within the school. Adults follow up all concerns promptly and take appropriate action
- Leaders ensure the provision of a broad range of extra-curricular activities
- Pupils participate enthusiastically in extracurricular activities and develop new skills and interests
